The Importance of Writing for Children to Model by an Author
It is interesting when your children do “get you” even when you think they are not watching. Although my son is not a writer, I did get his permission to share a poem he made for me. This is why I teach the importance of writing!

“My son, Trey, is not a writer and even though I tell him many times, ‘Don’t you want to write a book? I can help you?’ he says no. I cannot emphasize enough the importance of writing to many people around me.
He is interested in the things he likes and you cannot sway him from that. Trey is a YouTuber with a successful channel called TreyJam. He is great at many sports like basketball, football, soccer and street hockey.
It is interesting when your children do “get you” even when you think they are not watching. Although he is not a writer, I did get his permission to share a poem he made for me.

My MOM is a fighting spirit and no matter how many times she starts over she gets back up with a smile. She wonders whether her children are doing well. She hears the refrigerator beeping because I did not close it
She sees a vision of her future where her children have happy families and she is in a penthouse with her husband. She wants her children to succeed and will go to great measures for that to happen. She is Lisa Caprelli
And believes in improving herself always and that if she does good the universe will give back. She feels grateful because she was born into a poor family and has made it out of her struggle. She teaches and speaks about her struggle and shows people you can do anything with enough effort
You know she worries whether I have ate enough sometimes. She laments if she is the best version of herself. She is Lisa Caprelli
And she understands that I sometimes am conflicted about things sometimes and will help me through these times
According to her, she claims that love will overcome many problems in life. She dreams of a future where she has enough time to travel the world and help those in need. She strives to become a great writer and painter. She hopes that everyone close to her is happy: She is my mom
