Unicorn Jazz celebrates Los Angeles California Keynote Speaker

Lisa Caprelli, a talented Latina author, is touring the USA on a book tour, and she is pleased to be part of this elementary school-wide event at Andasol for the Los Angeles, California, Los Angeles California Keynote Speaker for parents and students.  She was born and raised in El Paso, Texas. Despite her humble beginnings, surrounded by a close-knit Hispanic family and delicious cuisine, Lisa’s grandmother, with only a third-grade education, instilled in her the value of education. Encouraged by her grandmother’s wisdom, Lisa pursued her passion for writing and helping others.  Today, Lisa is the creative force behind the beloved children’s book series, “Unicorn Jazz,” a heartwarming journey celebrating individuality, kindness, inclusivity, and creative expression. Her dedication to spreading joy and education extends beyond the pages with the captivating Amazon TV show, “Unicorn Jazz Presents The Thing I Do.”

Each author visit is a unique opportunity for children to connect with the world of storytelling, encouraging them to be confident in their uniqueness and to embrace their individual talents. As we continue our city-by-city elementary school tour, we invite educators, librarians, and parents to join us in our mission to inspire the next generation of readers and thinkers through enriching author visits. Discover how a unicorn book and an author visit can make a lasting impact on your students’ journey toward confidence, empathy, and lifelong learning.

  1. Inspires a Love for Reading and Writing: Meeting an author brings books to life, showing students that the stories they enjoy are created by real people. This can inspire a deeper interest in reading and motivate students to explore their own writing talents.
  2. Enhances Creativity and Critical Thinking: My Author visits can include interactive workshops or Q&A sessions, where students can ask questions and learn about the creative process. These activities encourage students to think creatively and develop critical thinking skills.
  3. Boosts Confidence: When students meet a professional writer who validates their own ideas and writing, it can significantly boost their confidence in their abilities. This self-assurance can translate into better engagement and participation in class.
  4. Promotes Social-Emotional Learning (SEL):  Being focused on children’s literature, Lisa weaves themes of empathy, resilience, and emotional intelligence into their stories. An author visit can reinforce SEL by helping students understand and express their emotions through literature.
  1. Drives Engagement in the Library: An author visit can increase interest in reading, leading to more checkouts and overall engagement with the library. Students are often excited to read the books of an author they’ve met, as well as other related titles.
  2. Supports Literacy Goals: Lisa aligns her presentations with curriculum standards and school goals, making her author visit a valuable tool for librarians and educators in promoting literacy and reading comprehension.
  3. Strengthens the Library’s Role in the School: Hosting an author can elevate the library as a central hub for creative learning, offering programs that go beyond traditional book checkout and study spaces.

In summary, Lisa’s work has a unique opportunity to inspire, educate, and foster a deeper love for reading, writing, and emotional growth in students, while also supporting the goals of librarians and educators in promoting literacy and creativity.  Literacy is important for kids! Stories can help children be inspired to do more, be more and create more. I love creating meaningful and positive stories to entertain children and to encourage communication and imagination through reading, writing and art.

Caprelli’s dedication to inspire young people’s creativity transcends her writings. Currently living in California, she has founded her own publishing company and has assisted young authors in realizing their dream of publication with her AUTHORSHIP PUBLISH YOUR OWN BOOK PROGRAM for students. Her work—which consists of writing, school visits, and frequent travel—showcases how the very qualities that formerly made her feel strange are now the secret to her success.

Simple but effective is Caprelli’s message to the youngsters she encounters: your differences are your assets; believe in yourself and get great things done with help from others. Her narrative is a hopeful reminder that, given the right environment, the quietest voices can develop into ones that motivate and inspire others.
