Always Being Kind as a Vocalist
An avid vocalist, Sofia Swade has been singing since she was four and began taking voice lessons when she was 9 years old.
She absolutely loves and lives for music and often sings her favorite pop songs and theater hits when she’s in the mood. As you can probably tell, she’s striving to become a professional singer when she grows up.
Living in the Wonderful World of Song
“The only thing better than singing is more singing.” — Ella Fitzgerald
Sofia’s mother took her to see Annie the Musical when she was five. After watching the amazing play, Sofia became immediately determined to be a part of theater performance in her future.
Three years later she was cast to play the part of Molly in her local theater’s production Annie. It was after meeting this goal and participating in Annie did she truly realize the passion she has and the fun she enjoyed doing stage performances.
Aside from singing and acting, Sofia’s favorite activities including drawing, dancing, and playing the piano. She draws often in her free time and finds it to be relaxing and self-expressive. She also attends dance classes weekly and likes to play the piano while singing, too!

Watch the video below, she created for the Unicorn Jazz team’s charity partner. All she did was express to her mother that she wanted to help.
Not only did she donate books – from her own allowance – she got involved by asking others to join.
The success of the 2020 children’s hospital book drive was over 350 books. More books continue to come in, because of her joint efforts with the Unicorn Jazz team! How can this not make you happy?!
Always be Kind & Never Give Up!
Sofia’s message of positivity to kids is to be as kind as possible in any situation. Not only does being nice make you feel good, but you also get the chance to brighten someone’s day by making them feel valued and respected.
