Priscilla reads the “Books Matter’ Poem
On our Facebook Live Kids Show, Lisa discusses the importance of writing her poem “Books Matter” honoring all picture books. How awesome it is that an author and illustrator came together (sometimes they are one person) along with a team of people.
Being an author is a lot of work. If you are willing to put in the time and effort, because you love it, then you will find a way to let the world know about your story!
Picture books matter for children all over the world! Talk to your school librarian, teacher or parent to learn about and find new discoveries and interests in books.

MEET 4TH GRADER ABIGAIL
The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. Abigail is the daughter of a dynamic entrepreneur team, Ken Walls and Jill Walls. Detective Penny (played by Lisa Caprelli during the show) will interview Abigail about her passions, like dancing and writing. If we are lucky, maybe we will get Abigail to teach us a short dance.

Thanecha Anderson will share something fun and sing us a song. Ask any question to this inspirational and motivated woman who has auditioned for many shows including America’s Got Talent. Thanecha is also the songwriter to the Unicorn Jazz Friendship Song and has been part of the jazzy team from the beginning.
