National Kindness Day is a great time to honor the many people, teams and collaboration it takes to create stories into children’s books, like Unicorn Jazz.

I BELIEVE IN YOU!

As I look at myself

in the mirror

I cannot help but reflect:

I’m here today

Because of an author

And an illustrator

Who made a story

Through and through.

One that can impact…

I’m here to entertain

Provide imaginative style

I’m here today

Because we created

A book that is worthwhile!

Lisa grew up with humble beginnings in the sun city of El Paso, Texas. She is proud of her Latin roots and culture. She has made Southern California her home for the past 20 years with her two sons and fiance.
