Spanish Unicorn Books with Dual Language Spanish Unicornio Jazz The majority of dual language programs in the United States teach in English and Spanish.

Children’s unicorn book series, Unicorn Jazz, by Texas native, Lisa Caprelli, a Latina mother, has seen the deep need by librarians, teachers and schools to create engaging Spanish picture books for children in states like Texas, California, Florida and much more in the United States.

It was important that we captured the English Unicorn Song for Kids and made it available for Spanish speaking children as well.

A TEEN WITH A BEAUTIFUL VOICE FOR UNICORNIO JAZZ’S FRIENDSHIP SONG

We searched across our friends and family for a girl who has a beautiful voice.  We came across Isabella Matos in Florida thanks to our translator and Unicorn Jazz Friendship Ambassador, Natalia Sepulveda.

She has been singing since she was 4 years old. Since then, she’s always been in a chorus, participated in school events and plays. She currently is part of the worship chorus at church, where she sings in both English and Spanish. In the past five years, she has been involved in plays and musicals. In April of 2019, Isabella participated in a Fine Arts Festival District Competition from the Assemblies of God and received a superior award with the invitation to participate in the nationals’ competition. Later in August of 2019, she performed at the Fine Arts Nationals Competition, where she was awarded an excellent rating. Throughout her journey in middle school, Isabella participated in two school plays: “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory Jr”, and, “Anything Goes”. While participating with her youth group at church she has participated in two musicals “Wrapping all the way” and “Christmas Cantata”. She has loved being on stage ever since she was very young and is still studying to pursue what she loves – to perform.

Currently, Isabella is studying theater, direction, and for the betterment of her performing skills. She plans on studying musical theater, and stage craft. She continues to develop her voice, singing, and joining clubs to compete. Singing has always been her first passion.

Tuvimos la suerte de haber recibido este libro @unicornjazzbrand para las niñas. Ellas estaban super emocionadas cuando llegó, porque se trataba de unicornios. Pero después de leer el libro, la lección detrás de la historia era realmente lo que necesitábamos. Jazz es un unicornio que obviamente es muy diferente a todos los demás animales. Su familia se muda a otro lugar y ella comienza en una nueva escuela y tiene miedo a no tener amigos. Al final, ella aprende a amarse a sí misma y a sentirse segura. Este próximo año escolar mis niñas empiezan en una nueva escuela. Este cambio, puede ser duro para cualquier niño. El mensaje detrás de la historia de Jazz es que hay magia dentro de todos, está bien ser diferente a los demás, y que puedes creer en ti mismo, si nadie más lo hace. Este fue un ejemplo perfecto, de cómo quiero que piensen mis niñas cuando comiencen este nuevo ano escolar en agosto.
