Family Literacy Night School Event Lisa Caprelli – comes to Hawthorne Elementary – Students can make their own BEE HAPPY Art and Writing and the importance of literacy, music and ask questions!

“Unicorn Jazz” takes readers on a magical journey where story and song unite in a celebration of friendship and courage. Jazz, a shy unicorn with a beautiful voice, moves to a new land. With the help of Woof the Crow, she learns to embrace her singing talent. Through their friendship and “The Friendship Song,” Jazz finds the courage to be herself and share her voice.

We welcome her when she comes to our school as the family literacy night speaker to our school in May! Encouraged by her grandmother’s wisdom, Lisa pursued her passion for writing and helping others. Today, Lisa is the creative force behind the beloved children’s book series, “Unicorn Jazz,” a heartwarming journey celebrating individuality, kindness, inclusivity, and creative expression. Her dedication to spreading joy and education extends beyond the pages with the captivating Amazon TV show, “Unicorn Jazz Presents The Thing I Do.”
