Created by children’s author Lisa Caprelli it began as a way to introduce kids to the joy of discovering and embracing what they love from an early age. From there, she developed the story, art, and themes to inspire children to recognize that every talent is important. This project is designed to encourage creativity and passion in kids everywhere!

First, children’s author, Lisa Caprelli, started with the story book idea: How to introduce kids to doing what they love at an early age. Then, started building the story elements, art and concepts for what this special book would mean for so many!

Created at the early onset of Covid and social distancing, Caprelli got her husband to join her in creating a dream, as if she were a kid herself.

If you can dream it, you can do it!

We hurried to build a show called THE THING I DO – at the beginning of physical distancing in Spring 2020. The Thing I Do – is really about the “thing” we all do – the thing that you do. It represents so many things for people of all ages. It was 𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗜𝗣𝗜𝗧𝗬 and we found a silver lining in a new way to bridge and build 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗡𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 with so many people!

Fourth, we dreamed of getting THE THING I DO on a streaming network. Little did we know, that it would come this same year: 2020. We made 𝗔𝗺𝗮𝘇𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝗩/𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗲! Now, we get to go back to so many of the “best of” videos we created to build a Season and list it all at once, as well as new content sent in by many 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗸𝗶𝗱𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁!
