Unicorn Jazz Finger Puppet
Ever thought what it would be like walking in Unicorn Jazz’s shoes? What a fun way to play with a finger puppet as well as create, imagine and play!
What you’ll need:
- White cardstock paper
- Ribbons or Yarn
- Yellow paper
- Printed out copy of Unicorn Jazz’s Tail (provided) or your own unique tail
From the white paper cut out these 3 shapes as shown in the photo. These will be the head, body and neck of Jazz.
Remember, it doesn’t have to be exactly the same because we’re all a little different!
Draw the eyes and nose on the head piece.
Draw 4 holes for your fingers at the bottom of the body piece and cut them out using a hole puncher with larger sized punching capabilities (found at craft stores or online).
Assemble the pieces together as shown
If you love playing with doll hairs, then the next step is perfect for you. Glue the hair (strips of paper) onto Unicorn’s head. Here we’ve used purple and pink to show Jazz’s unique mane.
Continue gluing them to the top of the head and the side of the body.
Unicorn Jazz’s unique tail is one of a kind. So print it out and cut it into shape. Then glue it in place.
Use the photo below to print and cut out the tail.
For the final step, cut out a unicorn horn from yellow paper and glue it behind the head piece. Add glitter to the horn to make it extra special!
And there you have it! Your very own Unicorn Jazz that you can walk around with.
