Bell Gardens is a Californian city located in Los Angeles County. A young 2.4 square mile city incorporated in 1961, the Bell Gardens area was a thriving settlement and place of residence for centuries before its founding. Bell Gardens became mainly colonized by Spanish and Mexican settlers throughout the 18th century and the area found itself at the forefront of Western agriculture and industrial production, which led to its gradual population boom. Today, the city is home to over 42,000 residents.
