Andover is a small rural town in Tolland County with a population of over 3,500 residents. Located in the heart of Connecticut, Andover displays a charming appeal of the rural Northeast with lively tree farms, greenhouses, and historic architecture. Other attractions to the area include hiking trails that can be used for cross-country skiing in the winter and the popular Andover Lake used for all kinds of water sports and recreation.

Unicorn Jazz & Andover Elementary School Author Visit
On March 3, 2021, Lisa Caprelli, award-winning author of the children’s Unicorn Jazz stories and songs will be presenting to young learners of Andover Elementary of all grade levels in two sessions virtually!
We at Unicorn Jazz are excited to be joining up with the staff and students of Andover Elementary as part of our virtual World Read Across America Tour, especially since the vision of the Andover School encapsulates the morals found in our Unicorn Jazz stories – being creative and compassionate in everything you do! Andover Elementary is centered on fostering an environment that promotes an enthusiastic approach towards the learning of all subjects, including physical education, computer learning, art, music, and languages. The school strives to uphold a foundation where students can grow into creative, moral, and compassionate people for their community.
